The font of the title was incredibly important to me whilst I was creating my pitch, as I am very aware that the title of a programme is the first thing both the audience and the client will see, and so how it looks, and how it relates to the show itself is very important.
I knew I wanted the title to be quite modern looking because I thought anything that wasn't just simply would not look right. I decided to go with the fourth font that I tried, because the other three I felt were either too much or to simple. The fourth font just felt right, it's quite simple, yet still aesthetically pleasing and I liked how it sort of looks typed or computer esc as this is very fitting to the programme.
P3: Create a pitch to communicate the idea to a client
M2: Identify potential client questions and amend pitch and proposal documentation
I conducted a focus group for this task as I thought it was important to have others ask questions before I present my pitch to the client.
Focus group questions 'Can you develop the characters more?' On my pre existing character slide I only have a few pictures of what I think the characters should look like, there is no description of each individual character, which is something the members of the focus group said they would like to see.
'What are the legal and ethical issues?' Whilst doing my practise pitch to the focus group they noticed that I hadn't discussed potential legal and ethical issues of the show, and they expressed that they believe this is a key thing the client would like to see. They suggested that I create another slide to discuss this, or talk about it within one of the existing slides.
'What are the age ratings for your show?' My focus group stated that my piece does not have the BBFC rating on it so the client wouldn't know what rating it is if it was going to be made into a DVD for example. I am going to develop further my rating within the first slide talking about target audience.
Things I need to amend/ add to pitch presentation:
